Nature's Pencil: Gallery: Old Bridge, Maastricht
Here we have a study in grey white and blue. I waited for ages for the person in the red coat to move into position, and was grateful that no-one else in bright colours had walked on to the bridge in the meantime. It is a pity that the roof on the left is not dark grey too. I could not crop it out, as that would have chopped the sign on the roof above. I suppose I could have changed the colour in photoshop, but that would be cheating. Anyone that knows the scene would know it had been manipulated, and they would never be able to trust any of my photographs.
