Nature's Pencil: Gallery: Owl
I wish I could say that I used my skills as a Naturalist to track down this wonderful long-eared owl (Asio otus). In fact it was semi-tame and was being displayed by its keeper at an event in Swansea. Even so it needed a 500mm lens and some patience to get this frame-filling shot.
